Explosion Proof Stainless Steel Ball Valves – On/Off

Explosion Proof Stainless Steel Ball Valves – On/Off
The progress of solenoid valve technology has primarily revolved around overcoming its inherent weaknesses and making the best use of its considerable advantages. These features include: fast response, small power consumption, delicate appearance, and easy connection to industrial control computers. They are also very suitable for use in flammable and explosive environments.

Designed for sanitary use in food, beverage, dairy, pharmacology, and cosmetics applications, these Stainless Steel Sanitary Valves are made from FDA compliant materials and have electropolished to a 32 Ra finish to prevent product buildup & inhibit bacteria growth. They are also compatible with Swagelok, Yor-Lok, & Let-Lok fittings and have a standard 2-piece design with internal spring return that makes them easy to shut off and open.

These explosion proof stainless steel sanitary valves are powered by an electric actuator to switch the valve between an open position and a closed position. The actuator is available with a variety of supply voltages and two-position or modulating control. The two-position actuator uses the valve position signal to open and close the valve, while the modulating actuator accepts a 4 to 20 mA input for valve positioning. The actuators feature thermal overload protection and a permanently lubricated gear train.

The series WE31 can be configured with either an electric or a pneumatic actuator. The electric actuator is available in weatherproof or explosion-proof, a variety of supply voltages and with two-position or modulating control. The pneumatic actuator is available with a two-position or a modulating control. Both actuators are direct mounted to the valves, creating a compact assembly for tight spaces. Both have limit switches that can be mounted directly to the valves allowing for remote position indication. Explosion Proof Stainless Steel Ball Valves – On/Off
