steve stratis is an award-winning designer and visual artist. His works have been exhibited in various high-end exhibitions and internationally-juried art as well as design competitions. His ability to bring the unseen into physical form has won him over 60 awards in the past few years alone, including multiple Gold medals at prestigious competitions. His sculptures and paintings are held in collections all over the world, including the renowned Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, CA.
Originally from the village of Papadianika in Greece, Eleni was the fourth daughter of Andonios and Sophia Kahrimanis. She emigrated to Canada in 1958 and settled in Toronto, where she met her husband Steve and started a family of their own. Eleni is survived by her loving husband Steve, daughters Vicky and Sophie, son-in-law Scott, grandchildren Michael (Kazundra), Gabrielle (Thomas), Richard, and Steven, great-grandchildren Hazel and Levi, as well as a wide circle of friends.
A devoted mother and grandmother, she doted on her four grandchildren. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed her quiet time on the back porch with a glass of wine or cup of tea. A steadfast supporter of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Eleni was an inaugural member of the FDU Athletics Hall of Fame and served as a Board Trustee and President of the Alumni Association. Her commitment to her family and to FDU has left a lasting legacy that will be celebrated for generations to come.
After a short stint as an undercard performer, she became a full-time Raw and SmackDown talent in 2021. Throughout her career, she has won numerous championships and has appeared on several magazine covers. She has also participated in a variety of charity events and formerly owned her own yoga studio.
In addition to her in-ring work, Stratus has made a name for herself on the talk show circuit and is active in social media. She has a large following on Twitter and regularly interacts with her followers. In early 2023, she was involved in a six-woman tag team match at WrestleMania, where she lost to Mickie James and Alicia Fox.
Throughout her career, Stratus has appeared on the WWE television shows Raw and SmackDown and made a brief appearance on the spin-off shows NXT and Enzo Amore & The New Day. In addition to her wrestling work, Stratus has made numerous appearances in movies and on TV shows.
As a composer, pianist and improviser, steve long has explored the relationship between composition and improvisation. He is a graduate of the New England Conservatory where he studied with Anthony Coleman, Benjamin Lazar Davis and Bruce Brubaker. He currently leads PrncX, a group dedicated to performing his improvisation based compositions, and collaborates with artists including multi-keyboardist Noemi Gasparini and harpsichordist Ben Katz. he is also the creator of the Pentiment series based in Philadelphia and co-founder of the Noise Night free improvisation sessions. His recordings include Ponticular on NotArt records and a duo piano exploration of Ellington with Utsav Lal.
